Product Designer | Tech Policy & Governance | AI Ethics | LLM in IT Law Candidate

Leveraging law, technology and design to shape ethical solutions for Africa and the Global South.

LLB Grad 2022

I am an early-career researcher, policymaker, and technology regulator.

I am committed to shaping the future of tech policy and governance in Africa and the Global South. My work focuses on ensuring that emerging technologies are ethical, inclusive, and aligned with human-centered principles.

I hold an LL.B and am currently pursuing an LL.M in Information Technology Law, where I am building on my expertise in cyber law, e-governance, artificial intelligence governance, data and privacy, and telecommunications law.

With four years of experience in the tech industry, I have worked on designing innovative digital solutions to address some of my country’s most pressing needs.

My research interests span across Tech Policy & Governance, Digital Transformation, Internet Governance, Ethical & Responsible AI (FATE), Green Computing, Ubiquitous Computing, and Intellectual Property in AI. I am particularly interested in how regulation can strike a balance between innovation and societal well-being.

My multi-disciplinary background in law, design and technology, gives me a nuanced understanding of how technology impacts people’s lives.

Outside my professional interests, you'd find me lost in a good book, travelling or trying new food. I am a sucker for classic African literature and will never say no to a good Christmas romcom.
